Universal Studios Japan: Space Fantasy

Space Fantasy the Ride is a whirlwind adventure through the stars, traveling directly through the Sun! The spinning coaster utilizes one of Mack Rides premier ride systems. Team Mobius principal and co-founder, David Morris, acted as art director and in-field art director on this fantastic flight through a galaxy of stars and planets.

David provided concept design for the primary ride vehicle and wardrobe designs as well as a majority of the show elements - shepherding those designs through to install with an intensive production process in Osaka. Space Fantasy continues to be well regarded as an example of what independently developed intellectual properties can do creatively inside location based entertainment experiences and is a perennial fan favorite.
